West End Dive - Pub Menu
The Menu mock-up is for a faux British pub in the west end of London. The name is a play from the Americanized term ‘Dive Bar’, a bar or pub of poor quality. Taking advantage of the classic Union Jack symbolism and its colours, the outer margins of the covers are created from it. The cover title is made from a self created font called Dive . The lines that create the flow of the font are originally inspired from that of a ‘diver down’ nautical flag. Throughout the menu on each page is a logo like stamp of a hand with a beer glass which is placed over the union jack for a different treatment on the back cover. The menu contents fulfil the common necessities of any English pub, being beer and wines, with some traditional entrées and appetizers. What makes the West End Dive different is the focal house selections of various grilled cheese entrees.
