The box set looks like a standard trilogy box with the addition of double layer exterior vertical walls which open to create multiple layout dimensions. The outer walls are connected by earth magnets embedded in the box walls which can open to fan out. The purpose is to create a bookend like front facing graphic the same as the outer box visual design. The image flows across the fold out design with the three-books sharing the overall illustration in slices. This box set allows for a highly visual look from the front compared to the usual shelf perspective that hides the box illustrations.

The sets theme is inspired by the hidden or taken for granted modern industrial revolution or third industrial revolution. The fictitious set of books are called Landscapes, Industry, and Evolution as a play on how nature continually intermingles with human development. Illustrations were made in a form of simplified mountain landscapes with hints of technology or symbols placed throughout. The oscilloscope images on the books purposefully show more complex frequencies as the books progress.
